These improvements involved entire reconstruction of the conveyance piping, control structure, inlet structure, outlet structure and chimney drain.

The constructions involved removal of the dam core and placement of a High-Density Polyethyl;ene pipe through the dam. The piping included bentonite collars and grout bed. The pipe was ballasted during installation to prevent flotation and it was buried to depths in excess of 20 feet.
