The 46,000 sq-ft and 22,000 sq-ft new Eisinger Motors dealerships are located on a 10 acre site at the north end of Kalispell. APEC Engineering, Inc provided Civil and Structural Engineering services for both buildings and the site.

The two buildings are of the same type of construction. Shallow concrete foundations support CMU bearing walls and structural steel framing systems. CMU shear walls, steel braced frames and steel moment frames were utilized to resist lateral forces. The shop areas are clear spanned with long span double pitched trusses. The quick-lube area utilized pre-stressed hollow core planks to clear splan the space and provide access to the vehicles from the lower pit. We worked closely with the owners and design team to provide a structural system that met the spatial demands and specialty items of these dealerships.
