Therriault Creek Diversion project is a newly constructed diversion structure for Glen Lake Irrigation District. APEC Engineering (Formerly Schwarz Architecture and Engineering) was selected by the irrigation district to secure financing for the project through DNRC, acquire required environmental permitting, develop project plans, specifications and cost estimates, and provide construction oversight. The project was completed in 2005. The diversion structure allows the irrigation district to divert flows from Therriault Creek in an accurate manner, this project also enhanced neighboring wetlands. Permitting was acquired with review from the conservation district, DNRC, Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks and United States Fish and Wildlife Service. The Therriault Creek diversion structure includes a self cleaning fish screen and a fish ladder to protect the native Bull Trout in the creek. .
